Film Speed Lab is a family-run film lab in Berlin that offers both: high-quality development and fast scans. It’s also a space where analog photographers can exhibit their work and meet over a drink at our photowalks, workshops, or movie nights. No matter if you’ve just finished your first roll or you’re looking for a reliable place to develop your 4x5 sheets, we’ve got you covered with professional equipment, years of experience, and a turnaround time that’s hard to beat.

Film Speed Lab

Fast film development & next-day scans 

With our Flash Scan service you can have your color or b&w film developed and scanned by the next day. No rush fee, that’s our normal speed. 

All dev&scan options 

We process color (C-41), B&W, slide (E-6), and motion picture (ECN-2) films in 135, 120, 110, and large format (4x5). Most rolls are scanned on our fast and reliable Noritsu HS-1800. For even finer detail or scans with borders, we use our high-end Imacon Flextight 646 and Durst Sigma Plus scanners. 

Digital scans go straight to your inbox, and negatives can be picked up in our Berlin lab or shipped wherever you are.
