The Durst Sigma Plus scans nearly every format: 35mm, 110, 120 (including rare ones), APS, dia, and 4x5 large format film.
What really stands out is the speed.
Imacon:

Scan time: 15–20 minutes
Durst Sigma Plus:
4x5 sheet, 16-bit TIFF – 9300×11900 px, 2540 DPI, ~650 MB

Compared to Imacon, Durst features Digital ICE for automatic dust and scratch removal and is much faster: a 4×5 16-bit TIFF takes about 2 minutes, while Imacon needs 15–20.

We send your frames straight to your inbox. Scan links are active for 3 days. If you miss the deadline, just send us your order number and we’ll reupload the files.
We keep your negatives for 1 month. Need more time to pick them up? Just let us know and we’ll hold onto them a bit longer.

Yes to both!
The Durst Sigma Plus uses Digital ICE to automatically remove dust and scratches.
We also do basic exposure and color correction on Flash JPG scans, so they’re ready-to-post.
If you want more control, pick TIFF — it’s flat and unprocessed.
Can I request scans with or without film borders using Durst?
Yes, we can scan with film borders using our Durst scanner.
